Give the Gift of Burlesque!

Wondering how to make holiday dreams come true?  Wonder no longer.  Studio L’amour now offers gift certificates for classes in any amount.  In addition to gift certificates, you can also order boas, CDs, DVDs or handmade pasties.  If you are interested in pasties, please send an email to michelle@studiolamour.com with your sizing and color choices.  Pasties can be picked up at the studio or mailed to you.

The next Studio L’amour event is Naked Girls Reading on Dec. 4, where the girls will be reading ‘A Christmas Carol’.  What a way to start the holidays!

Then, Dr. Sketchy’s is back on Dec. 13, 2-5pm, with your model Roxi D’Lite from Windsor and a performance from Mimi First.  This will be the last Dr. Sketchy’s of ‘09 so get your figure drawing in now!

2010 Schedule

The new class schedule for 2010 is now available, as is registration.  We have some new class offerings that we’re really excited about!  We’ve added a basic burlesque class on Sat. mornings, a monthly free class, burlesque fusion and a salon series.  The salon series will change every 4 weeks.  Topics include history of burlesque, burlesque films, costuming and more.

The new schedule will begin on Jan. 4, 2010 with the Winter II Session.

Santa Baby and Dr. Sketchy’s

Unwrap yourself this season! Learn a lovely tease for your own personal enjoyment on Dec. 13, 12-1:30.  You will learn a whole routine to Santa Baby using boas, bras, panties, and garters (the band, not the belt).  Cost is $25 and the limit is 15.

Also on Dec. 13, is Chicago’s favorite sketch class.  From 2-5pm you will be drawing the lovely Roxi D’Lite from Windsor, and watching a performance by Mimi First.  You can bring whatever medium you like to work with, but some materials will also be available for use.  The limit is 25 and the cost is $15.

Registration is now available for both events!

New 4 week Basic Burlesque Session

The new 4 week Basic Burlesque Session begins the week of Nov. 16.  Classes are held on Tues. and Wed. at 6:15 and Thurs. at 8:45.   This will be the last session of 2009.

On Dec. 13, we are holding a holiday Santa Baby Striptease Workshop.  This is perfect for you to perform for yourself or a loved one.  It’s $25 and you should bring a boa, bra, panties, and a garter.  $25 for the workshop, limit 15.

Also on Dec. 13, is Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School.  The featured model is Roxi D’Lite from Windsor and there will be a performance by Mimi First.  $15, some art materials will be provided, but you may also bring your own.  Limit 25.
