New 4 week Basic Burlesque Session

***Please note that Ballet, Adv. Choreography, Tease Technique and Tease ‘n’ Tone are all canceled the week of Nov. 8.  All other classes will be running.  The above mentioned classes will resume the week of Nov. 15.

The new 4 week Basic Burlesque Session begins the week of Nov. 16.  Classes are held on Tues. and Wed. at 6:15 and Thurs. at 8:45.   This will be the last session of 2009.

On Dec. 13, we are holding a holiday Santa Baby Striptease Workshop.  This is perfect for you to perform for yourself or a loved one.  It’s $25 and you should bring a boa, bra, panties, and a garter.  $25 for the workshop, limit 15.

Also on Dec. 13, is Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School.  The featured model is Roxi D’Lite from Windsor and there will be a performance by Mimi First.  $15, some art materials will be provided, but you may also bring your own.  Limit 25.

Registration is now available for all of these events and the basic burlesque session.

Naked Girls Reading – Nov. 6

After a successful showing in New York City and Madison, Naked Girls Reading is back in Chicago on Nov. 6 at 7pm.  The theme is Love letters, hate letters, and everything in between.  Reading this month will be Michelle L’amour, Greta Layne, Dominique Trixx, Ginny Fizz, and Mimi First.  You can have dinner next door at La Mediterranee and mention the show and receive 20% off your food and $5 drinks.  Good deal!

Also, the next 4 week Basic Burlesque Session begins the week of Nov. 16.

Winter Session Updates

The new session begins the week of Oct. 19.  There are only 4 spots left in the Monday Beg/Int class.  There is more room in the Tues. and Thurs. Beg/Int classes.  There is also room in the 4 week Basic Burlesque classes.

The props for the Beg/Int class are chairs, gloves, and stoles.  You do not need to bring anything in the first week.

There are some upcoming class cancellations.  Please make note of these:

Oct. 28 – No Tease Technique or Show Class
Oct. 29 – No Tease ‘n’ Tone

If your class isn’t listed above, it IS running.

Samba and Winter Registration

The winter session begins the week of Oct. 19.  This is the last session of 2009! Registration is available now for classes!  Props for the beg/int class include chairs, gloves, and stoles.

Coming up on Oct. 17, we have 2 Samba workshops for you from Kellita, of the Hot Pink Feathers in San Fransisco.

Learn technique from 1-2 and then build on that with a Samba Burlesque Choreography from the repertoire of the Hot Pink Feathers.  $25 for one class or $40 for both.

Also, keep in mind that for the whole month of Oct, we are offering the drop in classes for $10 to benefit Keep-A-Breast Foundation.  Drop in classes include yoga, tease technique, and tease ‘n’ tone.
